Importing Data.

Supported import formats

Baseerat supports importing data from: CSV files (contacts, deals, companies); direct migration from Salesforce (using our Salesforce connector); direct migration from HubSpot (using our HubSpot connector); and JSON files via the API.

02

CSV import

Go to Contacts → Import → Upload CSV. Download our template to see the expected column format. Required columns: first_name or full_name, and email. Optional columns: company, phone, title, and any custom field names. Duplicate detection is based on email address.

03

Field mapping

After uploading, Baseerat shows a field mapping screen. Drag your CSV columns to match Baseerat fields. Unmapped columns are ignored (you can always import again). Custom fields can be created on-the-fly during import.

04

Salesforce migration

Go to Settings → Integrations → Salesforce → Migrate. Authenticate with Salesforce and select which objects to import: Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities, and Activities. The migration runs in the background and can take 10–60 minutes depending on data volume.

05

Handling duplicates

Baseerat detects duplicates by email address for contacts and by name + company for deals. You can choose to: skip duplicates, merge with existing records, or import as new records. Merging is safe, no data is deleted, only enriched.
