01

What is a deal?

A Deal represents a potential revenue opportunity. It is always linked to at least one contact and lives within a pipeline stage. Core fields: name, value, currency, expected close date, owner, pipeline, and current stage.

02

Pipeline stages

A Pipeline is a sequence of Stages that a deal moves through. Each stage has a name and a probability weight (used for weighted forecasting). Default stages: Lead In (10%), Qualified (25%), Proposal (50%), Negotiation (75%), Closed Won (100%), Closed Lost (0%).

03

Moving deals

Drag a deal card between stages in the pipeline board view, or update the stage from the deal record. Every stage transition is logged to the deal's timeline with a timestamp and the user who made the change.

04

Multiple pipelines

You can run separate pipelines for different products, segments, or geographies. Each pipeline has its own stages and probability weights. Switch between pipelines from the top of the pipeline view.

05

Deal filters & sorting

Filter deals by stage, owner, value range, expected close date, tags, and any custom field. Sort by value, close date, last activity, or created date. Save filter combinations as custom views.
