What are activities?
An Activity is any logged interaction with a contact or deal. Baseerat tracks: emails (sent and received via Gmail/Outlook integration), calls (logged manually or via VoIP integration), notes (free-text observations), tasks (to-dos with due dates), and meetings (calendar events).
Logging a call
From any contact or deal record, click "Log Activity" → "Call." Enter the call outcome (Connected, No Answer, Left Voicemail), duration, and notes. Calls are timestamped and appear in the timeline immediately.
Email tracking
Connect your Gmail or Outlook under Settings → Integrations. Once connected, all emails to and from tracked contacts are automatically logged to the timeline. You'll also see open and click tracking when you send emails from within Baseerat.
Tasks & reminders
Create a task from any record: set a due date, priority (Low, Medium, High), and assign to a teammate. Tasks appear in the assignee's Task view and can trigger notifications when overdue.
Timeline filters
The timeline can be filtered by activity type. Use this to quickly find the last email, or see only calls from the past week. Timeline data is available via the API for custom reporting.
